Terms of Service
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Welcome to Unbecome (hereinafter “the Service”). By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by the Unbecome team.
1. Description of the Service
The Service takes a stretch of lived experience you contribute and, with the help of AI, breaks it into a structure of forks you can walk again — letting you “re-walk” it and see the gains and losses under different choices. It is a narrative / text experience product.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your password. If you discover any unauthorized use, please contact us promptly through the means below.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: upload other people’s private or personal information that you have no right to make public; publish unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harassing content; attempt to damage or abuse the Service or circumvent its allowance / security limits; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may impose restrictions on content or accounts that violate these terms.
4. Your Content
The experiences and stories you create belong to you, and are private by default. Whether to make them public or share them via a link is entirely your decision. To operate the Service (to store, generate, and present your content to you, and to display it to other users when you choose to make it public), you grant us the limited license necessary for these purposes. You are responsible for the content you upload and make public, and you must ensure you hold the corresponding rights.
5. AI-Generated Content and Psychological-Safety Disclaimer
The stories and dramatizations in the Service are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete; they are purely fictional extrapolation, do not represent fact, and do not constitute any life, medical, or psychological advice. The ending is merely a rule-based “ledger of gains and losses”; there is no optimal outcome, and it should not be taken as a judgment of, or guidance for, your real life. The Service is not a medical or psychotherapy service; if you are in a mental-health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a mental-health helpline.
6. Provided “As Is” · Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including as to availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time (see Section 5 of the Privacy Policy). If you materially breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your use of the Service.
8. Changes and Governing Law
We may update these Terms from time to time, revising the date at the top of the page upon update. These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the respective places where you and we are located; in the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. Continued use signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
